The name Mustered Seeds, previously Butir Sesawi ("mustard seed" in Indonesian) embodies how just a lil' moves a hill. It is inspired by the famous quote
if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.
In Indonesian, this could be paraphrased into "sedikit memindahkan bukit", which could be seen as an alteration of an old Indonesian saying "sedikit demi sedikit, lama-lama menjadi bukit (little by little they'll become hills)." While the classic proverb emphasizes persistent work, our idea is to highlight the grace by which lots of outcomes take place. It is a gentle reminder that even as we tell ourselves we are far from sufficient, Grace is sufficient for us. We recognize that indeed, sometimes all that is left to do is to muster up the seeds to proceed.
